How sun and type work together
A balanced chart around the sun
With the sun leading and no element competing, the earth voice is clear: patience, comfort, quality. The balanced chart adds an ability to see the other side of a question, which softens your stubbornness. Use it, because your first answer is not always your best one.
Love and closeness
You are faithful, warm and physical, and you love with consistency. Because you understand different temperaments, you adapt to a partner better than most people of your sign. Say what you want clearly, so your flexibility is not read as having no preference.
Work and career
Finance, crafts, food, real estate, design and roles that call for both patience and variety suit you. You can see a project through and switch approach when it stalls. Choose work that pays properly, as you do not enjoy uncertainty about money.
Under stress
Stress makes the earth in you dig in: you resist change and eat or sleep more. The balance of the chart is your resource. Try a different angle on the problem, then return to the routine that grounds you.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
The sun sign alone describes a patient comfort-lover. The type shows that all four elements support the picture, which gives your steadiness unusual range.

This type shows different sides depending on where the sun stands:
