Element: Air · Element of the sun sign: Earth
An air chart with an earth-sign sun is a calm, sensual person with a surprisingly lively mind.
Your type and your sun
- Nomad
Element: Air
You live on ideas, encounters and movement, and your mind joins what others keep apart.
Taurus
Element of the sun sign: Earth
Who you are with this combination
The sun likes comfort, quality and a steady pace; the chart wants conversation, news and variety. So you enjoy a slow meal if there is good talk at the table, and you collect both nice objects and interesting facts. People find you grounded and entertaining at once.
How sun and type work together
Sun and type bring different elements
Sun and chart do not move at the same speed. The sun holds on while the chart wants to try something new, so you can feel torn between a favorite chair and an unread book. Give each a place: comfort at home, curiosity in the schedule.
Love and closeness
You are affectionate, loyal and fond of good food and shared jokes. A partner who talks with you for hours and also stays put suits you best. Do not let your need for stability turn into silence; say what is on your mind.
Work and career
Design, writing about food or money, communication in finance, teaching crafts and consulting suit you. You can explain complicated things in a patient, clear way. Use your steady pace as a strength and decline the rush jobs that tire you.
Under stress
Under stress the mind keeps cycling while the body wants to sit still, and you end up tired and restless at the same time. Eat properly, stay off the news for an evening and talk the worry through with one calm person.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
The sun sign alone gives a patient comfort-seeker. The type shows the quick, communicative mind, which is why you can explain what you value and not only enjoy it.
