Nomads: Air and Air Compatibility

Element: Air

Two Air types are a pair of friends first: curious, quick, always talking, always on the way to something new.

The two types

What connects you

Conversation never runs out. You trade ideas at breakfast, send each other links at midnight, and finish each other's sentences. Both of you want freedom and respect it in the other, so there is no clinging and no possessiveness. You are a team of minds, and the bond is rooted in being interested in each other.

Where it rubs

The friction is lightness. Both of you think a feeling instead of feeling it, both avoid the heavy conversation, and plans float without landing. Decisions are postponed because options are more fun than choices. The relationship can stay light so long that nobody notices it has not deepened.

How you argue and make up

Arguments turn into debates: points, counterpoints, clever analysis, no tears. Real hurt hides behind the wit. What ends a quarrel here is saying the feeling in one sentence without the argument around it: I felt left out. After that, humor is welcome again.

Everyday life together

Your life is varied, social and full of plans. What gets pushed aside is the plain follow-through: the bill, the booking, the laundry. Assign these to a weekly routine with a fixed time, and keep a shared notebook or list. Rhythm is not a cage for you; it is what makes the freedom last.

Love and closeness

In love you are lovers who are also friends, and that is a strength. Closeness grows when you slow down enough to share what lies beneath the thoughts. Touch, shared silence and a slow evening matter more than you expect, and they bring warmth to the quick mind.

Working together

At work you are communication, media, teaching, technology, network. Ideas travel fast between you, and you sell, write and explain well. Bring in someone who finishes, schedules and delivers, or divide the finishing work between you by name, and your ideas will reach the world.

Why the type is more precise than comparing sun signs

A comparison of sun signs sets one placement of each person side by side. A Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The dominant element of the whole chart decides, so the type describes how a person lives and loves day to day, and the pair view rests on that.

Two air suns do not make an air pair by themselves. The type shows whether movement and exchange lead in the whole chart of each of you, and that decides how easy this lightness really is.

The Relationship Codex for your pair

The Relationship Codex reads the connection itself, as a third subject next to the two of you. It takes both birth charts, shows where you meet and where you rub, and starts with the strongest real bond between you.

The Relationship Codex shows where your two minds meet in your charts and where you both avoid the weight underneath.
