A balanced chart with a water-sign sun is a deep, perceptive person who can still be light and practical on demand.
Your type and your sun

Element: Balanced
All four elements are in balance in you, so you understand every side and join them into one picture.
Scorpio
Element of the sun sign: Water
Who you are with this combination
The sun is intense and private; the other elements are present in equal measure, so the intensity has company. You can dive into a subject for days and then surface for a joke and a meal. Depth is your home, though it is not your only room.
How sun and type work together
A balanced chart around the sun
In a chart with one dominant element, intensity can take over. Here the sun supplies the depth and the level chart supplies the exits. You can hold a secret and still speak, hold a grudge and still forgive. Use that range before the grip gets tight.
Love and closeness
You love with full commitment and need honesty in return. Because you understand different temperaments, you are able to meet a partner where they are. Let them see your doubt as well as your strength.
Work and career
Research, investigation, therapy, finance, strategy and crisis management suit you. You find what is hidden and can present it in ways people can hear. Hand over control on some tasks to prove to yourself that the work will survive.
Under stress
Under stress the sun turns inward and suspicious. The balanced chart is the antidote: take a walk, call a friend, do the practical thing, then return to the question. Any change of element breaks the fixation.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
The sun sign alone suggests a brooding, secretive nature. The type shows the even chart around it, which explains why your intensity rarely turns into extremes.
The same type with other sun signs
This type shows different sides depending on where the sun stands:
