Cartographer with Sun in Virgo: The Balanced Type
Element: Balanced · Element of the sun sign: Earth
A balanced chart with an earth-sign sun is a careful, helpful person who also sees the big picture.
Your type and your sun
- Cartographer
Element: Balanced
All four elements are in balance in you, so you understand every side and join them into one picture.
Virgo
Element of the sun sign: Earth
Who you are with this combination
The sun notices details, errors and improvements; the evenly weighted chart reminds you that there is more than one way to do things. You are precise without being rigid, and you can explain your point of view in ways that fit different listeners.
How sun and type work together
A balanced chart around the sun
Sun and chart pull in a pleasant way: the sun refines, the chart keeps perspective. Self-criticism, the usual shadow of this sign, meets a counterweight in your range of responses. Use it by asking, whenever you criticize yourself, what you would say to a friend.
Love and closeness
You are loyal, thoughtful and quietly devoted. You adjust to your partner's rhythm and remember what matters to them. Allow yourself spontaneous moments; they do not need to be perfect to count.
Work and career
Health care, analysis, editing, project management, teaching and quality roles suit you. You can handle both the data and the people. Decide in advance when a task is good enough, and stop there.
Under stress
Under stress the sun begins to worry, list and fix. The rest of the chart can come to help: a walk, a conversation, a change of scene or a laugh. Choose one of them before you start another round of checking.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
On the sun sign alone you would be someone who leaves no flaw standing. The type shows the even spread of elements, which explains why you can accept a result that is imperfect and still good.
The same type with other sun signs
This type shows different sides depending on where the sun stands:
