Your type and your sun

Element: Water
You sense what lies beneath the surface and guide others safely through feelings and turning points.
Aquarius
Element of the sun sign: Air
Who you are with this combination
The sun is independent, inventive and cool in manner; the chart is empathic and picks up other people's pain. So you take up causes, protect the group and keep a certain distance, because feeling too much would be overwhelming. Friends know that you care.
How sun and type work together
Sun and type bring different elements
Head and heart rarely speak the same language here. The sun steps back to think, the chart is pulled in to feel. When you let them work in turn, you are a rare mix of idealist and healer. When you do not, you swing between aloof and overwhelmed.
Love and closeness
You are loyal, unusual and need room, yet you long for a deep bond. Friendship is the way in. Explain your need for space before it hurts someone, and then show up for the closeness you promised.
Work and career
Social innovation, healing technology, community projects, alternative therapy, activism and science with a human purpose suit you. You think in systems and feel for individuals. Work with a group that shares your values and respects your independence.
Under stress
Under stress you go cool, withdraw to think and then get hit by sudden feeling. Nerves and sleep suffer. Alternate solitude with trusted company, and use water, a bath or a swim, to reconnect head and heart.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
The sun sign alone would call you detached. The type shows the deep empathy of the whole chart, which explains why your ideals are felt and not just thought.
The same type with other sun signs
This type shows different sides depending on where the sun stands:
