Your type and your sun

Element: Water
You sense what lies beneath the surface and guide others safely through feelings and turning points.
Sagittarius
Element of the sun sign: Fire
Who you are with this combination
The sun seeks freedom, humor and meaning; the chart feels everything and remembers every goodbye. You travel, laugh and philosophize, and you also carry a quiet need for belonging. People see the joy first and learn about the depth later.
How sun and type work together
Sun and type bring different elements
Fire wants to move, water wants to feel. When they work together, you are generous, intuitive and inspiring. When they clash, you run from a feeling and call it freedom. A good question to ask is whether you are traveling toward something or away from something.
Love and closeness
You are warm, honest and playful, and you give your love in large gestures. Closeness can bring up an urge to flee. Tell your partner when you feel cornered, and offer a plan for returning rather than just leaving.
Work and career
Teaching, spiritual guidance, travel, healing, outdoor therapy, humanitarian work and writing suit you. You encourage others with real feeling behind your optimism. Do not promise more than your energy can hold.
Under stress
Under stress you either escape, in plans, trips or distraction, or turn blunt and moody. The feelings you postpone catch up at night. Time in nature, a talk with a wise friend and a few quiet minutes with yourself reset the tide.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
The sun sign alone gives a cheerful wanderer. The type shows the emotional depth that makes your search for meaning personal rather than merely curious.
The same type with other sun signs
This type shows different sides depending on where the sun stands:
