Aries
Element of the sun sign: Fire
Who you are with this combination
The sun wants to charge ahead and win; the chart reads moods and remembers every hurt. So you lead with your heart and defend those close to you with surprising force. Behind the bold front sits someone who feels much more than they show.
How sun and type work together
Sun and type bring different elements
Water and fire produce steam. The sun pushes for action, the chart pulls toward feeling, and the result is intensity that can flare and fade within an hour. Pause before you answer when you are moved. The first reaction is honest, but the second one is usually wiser.
Love and closeness
You love fiercely, protect fiercely and sulk quietly when you feel unseen. You need a partner who can handle both the fire and the tears. Say what hurt right away instead of letting it grow into a grudge.
Work and career
Rescue work, sport, health care, advocacy, cooking and any job with a cause you believe in suit you. You work best when the mission is personal. Keep your calendar clear of tasks that ask for a thick skin all day.
Under stress
Stress turns feeling into anger: a sharp word, a slammed door, then regret. The body holds heat in the chest and the head. Hard exercise, cold water and a few minutes alone before you speak let the wave pass.
Why the type is more precise than the sign alone
A sun sign is one placement in the chart, and it stands in one of the four elements. Your Codex Type is calculated from all 11 points of the chart: the sun, the moon, the ascendant and the planets. The sun colors the type, and the type shows how much of the whole chart agrees with the sun or answers it.
The sun sign alone makes you the fighter. The type shows the sensitive, intuitive depth of the whole chart, which explains why you fight for people and not only for victory.
