What a family horoscope shows
Every family is a web of pairs: the two parents, each parent with each child, the children among themselves. A family horoscope reads each of these pairs on its own and then puts them side by side.
The result is a family picture: the strongest bond, the easiest flow, the most friction, and a sentence about the role each person plays.
How we read a family
We lay the birth charts of two people over each other, pair by pair: the parents, each parent with each child, and the siblings. Sun, Moon, Venus and the other planets of one chart meet those of the other.
Each child gets a chapter of their own with each parent. With two or more children, a short chapter on the siblings follows. The family picture ties it all together at the start.
Who can take part
One or two parents and their children, up to 5 people in total. Mother, father or parent: choose the role that fits. The role Child describes a place in the family, not an age, so grown-up children are just as welcome.
You enter birth date and birthplace for each person. Everything else is calculated from them.
Frequently asked questions
Can a family horoscope tell whether a family gets along?✦
It shows tendencies: where closeness comes easily and where two people need more room or a different tone. It does not grade a family. What a family does with these patterns is up to the people in it.
How many people can be in a Family Codex?✦
Up to 5: at least one parent and one child, and no more than two parents.
Can stepchildren, adopted children or adult children be included?✦
Yes. The roles describe a place in the family, not a family tree. Choose the role that fits each person and enter their birth details.
